Unipartner’s President & CEO, Fernando Reino da Costa, took part once again in Jornal de Negócios’ Leaders’ Forum, a landmark initiative that brings together national business leaders to anticipate the trends and challenges shaping the year.
This annual forum gathers voices from across the Portuguese economy, offering strategic perspectives on the forces influencing markets, investment, competitiveness, and industry transformation. 💡
This year, Fernando highlighted how geopolitical volatility continues to shape global economic dynamics, despite some signs of progress toward peace, as well as the opportunities emerging from the evolution of AI.
“Geopolitical volatility persists, despite some signs of progress toward peace in the East. In the markets, the economic chessboard remains: tariffs are asserting themselves as instruments of pressure, prolonging uncertainty and influencing investment decisions. Supply chains continue under tension, in a context where demand exceeds supply.
The Information Systems sector is at the center of the debate, both due to the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence and the uncertainty regarding the return on the investments made. Portugal stands out for its dynamism and growth. The context is demanding, but it represents a great opportunity. With a focus on innovation, competitiveness and talent, we will emerge stronger and growth will follow.”
