As part of our commitment to knowledge sharing and talent development, Unipartner’s Data & AI Consultant Cláudio Ferreira, hosted the “Advanced DAX for Data Analysts” workshop at ISCTE, offering Master’s in Business Analytics students and the wider ISCTE community the opportunity to deepen their Power BI and data analytics skills. 💡
This session provided students with practical insights grounded in our real world experience delivering analytics and business intelligence solutions. Moreover, students also got the chance to explore advanced Power BI topics such as data transformation with Power Query, time intelligence, efficient data modelling, advanced DAX metrics, performance optimization, security concepts, and key Power BI Service features.
Through hands on examples, we showcased how strong data models, optimized DAX calculations, and thoughtful report design can turn data into impactful, business driven insights while helping avoid common implementation pitfalls.
