Security Compliance Consultant

Role Overview

A Consultant at Unipartner is an exciting & challenging role.

As a consultant, you will work on engagements to design, develop, and implement solutions by using standard or new methods, techniques and top IT Tech solutions. Consultants work as trusted advisors providing guidance on the correct application of a solution or technique that consistently deliver high client value.

As part of this challenging role you will be working on innovative projects as well as work on portfolio offering development.

The Challenge

As part of the project, you will provide expertise and guidance participating in the implementation of security projectsbased on market security standards and the Microsoft Security solutions landscape.

The main purpose of the role is to support the growing Unipartner Security Team. 
As main responsibilities you will be challenged to:

  • Assess policies, processes, information security and cybersecurity controls, standards and regulation compliance;

  • Evaluate the level of information security risk and impact by examining systems and procedures and performing interviews;

  • Identify gaps and security controls required to reduce the information security risk;

  • Work with technical team in order to understand the information security and cybersecurity maturity and gaps and help them implement the right security controls;

  • Develop security policies, procedures, strategies, business continuity and disaster recovery plans;

  • Keep up to date with the latest news, threats, technology and best practices in the security industry.

As part of Unipartner Team, you will have the opportunity to put into action your expertise and knowledge, as well as learn new and innovative approaches, such as ability to build trust, to drive change with customers, to create and deliver technical presentations. 

We are looking for bright talent with:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience

Technical skills:

  • Degree in Informatics or equivalent;

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools PowerPoint, Word, Excel;

  • Experience in IT assessments, client interactions and project management;

  • Experience with data, risk and security standards: GDPR, ISO  31000;

  • Experience with IT Governance COBIT, Service Management ISO 20000, ITIL is a plus;

  • Certifications are highly valued.

Soft and other skills:

  • Drive to learn;

  • Customer focused;

  • Resilient team worker;

  • Excellent Communication Skills –fluent in English and Portuguese - any other language is a plus;

  • Consultative profile with good organizational and documentation skills;

  • Experienced leading customer meetings and other customer interactions;

Required Languages:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
